RIVER ROCKS
Landscape and the ethereal effects that occur with changing light are the focus of my work.
The illusion of motion of the air/water against the solidity/steadfastness of the rocks, creating balance. A place for contemplation. In the creative process colour layers overlay each other, lines are created, covered and released. I build and destroy, highlight and make obscure, until I must hold on or let go. Less causes us to look for more. The individual’s construction of any type of meaning is possible.
